OK... so it's beers at E-9... then burgers at the Tides... and THEN armed revolt in Tacoma. Werks fer me. :-)

Hey Wn...Steve checked my oil...put two quarts in. Wah-lah! No more swinging oil indicator needle!
But it's still sounding aweful. Squealing like mad. I'm pretty sure it's a belt. We took it in to KC auto this evening, dropped the key in the mail shoot.
My dad lent me his truck, g'nad! That great big diesel truck! I feel like I'm driving a great big yacht down the street!! Like a gnat on an elephant!
Hmmmmm.... one of you still hasn't conceded on the burgers I see! :-)
Can I get clams at any of these places?
Have him meet us at E-9 -- easy to get to and we can buy him some great cask-conditioned brew for his service.
A gazillion places to get clams around here. Steamers is a block from me, you can eat a whole bucket full of them there.
Of course, it's too late for me to say that the instant temporary repair for a squeaky belt is to soap it up. :-)
But, if it's squeaky, you do need it checked.
Oil is important 2J. Gotta keep that level up. VEY important. :-)

Had to take a break there for a bit and teach this young beertender how to pour a proper Guinness. Yeesh. These kids today... do they teach them NOTHING in school these days?
If we're going on Thursday, I'll get home after 5 or so...we can get there by 6. If you wanna go on Friday, any time after noon will do.

Holy smokes... are there ever clams to be had. Clams like nobody's bidness.
Yes. Steamers has wonderful clams. Somee of the best on the planet. It stops trains. Literally... there's a train track that runs nearby and periodically the train will STOP there and the engineer will get out and run up to Steamers, get a big order of seafood to go, and jump back up in the train and move it on out again. I kid you not.
Another place that we may likely hit at one time or another is the Harbor Inn, in GH. They have a "pound of clams" in a butter and garlic sauce that is absolutely TO DIE FOR.
