STUDENTS ADMIT: PORN AND PROBLEMS ABOUND
A high school near you

Several students have come forward and explained graphically what is happening to teenagers in high school in the United States. Students have told me that more than half of the students they know are watching porn in movies, on television, cable television and the internet. Then, they come to school and such is quite often the topic of discussion in classes (when the teacher is not around or close by) and in the cafeteria. The youngsters will in their own homes or at a friends house watch such material. When asked where the parents were, one answer was shocking.
The individual who related this information to me said some parents look at the porn with their children. Other parents are off on business trips (major scheduling between teens to see which house is parent-free) or are working night shifts and some are working a second job to pay the bills.
Teenagers are getting together in groups to look at pornography and subsequently have sex parties involving alcohol and drugs. Drugs being used are cocaine, ecstasy and heroin. Both rich and poor children are involved in this activity. Senior and juniors are the ones having parties which more often involve drugs.
All of this is having a tremendous impact on the academic performance of students. Teachers notice that teens are keenly interested in ANYTHING with sexual innuendo and not much of anything else. Jokes are not funny unless that have a sexual overtone. Students in the halls constantly have to be reminded to keep their hands off of their girlfriends. It also explains the immodest clothing with which administrators and teachers battle every day.
Suddenly History, English, Foreign Language, Math, Science, etc. are boring beyond endurance. How in the world are those subjects going to compete with pornography in the teenagers minds? Something must be done and done quickly. No wonder we have a rise in homosexual activism. No wonder everyone screams bloody murder if television, internet or movies are censored. So many people are watching that a violation of their illicit pleasure becomes a violation of rights. Sadly, many dont know or have forgotten the following passages from 1 Corinthians 6:18:
Flee immorality. Every other sin that a man commits is outside the body, but the immoral man sins against his own body.
To keep a long topic short, check out the following link:
I dont know exactly what is going to be the end of this. I do know that eventually God will lose patience and their will be hell to pay (literally AND figuratively). My hope is that perhaps some souls will see the need for change before the nation is destroyed from within.

This might be part of the reason Abu Ghraib happened. It sure explains why a huge number of students are apathetic about their schoolwork.

It definitely explains why I got suspended in junior high.

Immorality or bad grades? Or both? Seriously...this is a major problem.

Raising children with a good foundation in a religion is a good start. To call the children who engage in this type of activity 'Godless' would be an understatement.

This might be part of the reason Abu Ghraib happened. Yes, part of it.
Regarding the parents watching porn with their minor children -- CPS in this state will remove children from a household very quickly if there is evidence of that occurring.

A few years ago there was a cluster of syphilis amonst teens (as young as 13!) outside Atlanta in a wealthy area . And this is what was happening there...porn, drugs, lots of group sex....no parents around because they worked all the time and/or they were on some European vacation.

Obviously man can not be allowed to think of sex, lest similar problems occur elsewhere!
QUICKLY BROTHERS, let us herd the women away so that we will not ogle their sexy legs and other lovely bits!
Instead, let us stare at knotholes and beat ourselves over the head with educational videos until we stop thinking about all the sex we aren't getting!
The only time you stop thinking about sex is called death, most people realize this.
Are you quite sure someone isn't pulling a fast one on you?

You've hit it dead on in "the 10 ring".
And based on discussions I've had with a social worker, this problem is nearly as prevelant in the private schools as the public ones.
Here's some helpful information:
Every Man's Battle for Purity - We have to turn on to Christ! Dr. Jerry Kirk, Chairman of the National Coalition For the Protection of Children and Families, was a late addition speaker for the tenth "Answer the Call" Catholic Men's Conference! He presented the evils and pervasiveness of obscene media in his talk "Every Man's Battle for Purity". Dr. Kirk told us that the average male will see 14,000 suggestive images in a single year! He explained how this evil affects us all-in our marriages, in our attitudes and in our behavior. His answer is a close relationship with Christ. See also our links to helpful resources for those struggling against pornography
Here's one in the Minneapolis area:
Crystal Evangelical Free Chruch - Purity Ministries - PH: 763-971-5111
If you struggle with living a life of truth, authenticity and holiness, youre probably also wondering why your faith in God seems so distant and cold. Thats not surprisingthe two usually go hand-in-hand. In todays society, its a challenge to live in purity, but the reward of a full, satisfying life makes it worth the effort. Dont allow culture and the enemy of your soul to steal your joy in life! Purity Ministries offers many resources to encourage and empower you to live a holy life to its fullest satisfaction so you can experience all God intended for you. Please point out which, in you large collection of quotes and poll results, prove that porn is bad.

Seems you've been shown documentation, as requested. I know what I am seeing and the students confide in me. We have a problem and it is terrible beyond comprehension. Denial will lead to destruction.

So based on JUST these specific statistics:
- One in five children ages 10-17 have received a sexual solicitation over the Internet
- One in four children who use the Internet are exposed to unwanted sexual material
- 2.5 billion emails per day are pornographic
- 25 percent of all search engine requests are pornography related
- 94 percent of Americans believe a ban on Internet pornography should be legal
- 15% of online-porn habitue's develop sexual behavior that disrupts their lives
Let me guess... you still think "porn is not a problem"
For those of you who DO think porn is a problem, and have children, please check out Max.com for a real good internet filter.

Just like a gun, porn can be used to harm others. That doesn't mean it's the guns/porns fault.
