hey... just got me a box of Meister 240 gr round nose flat point cast bullets in .429 fer muh .44 Mag... good lookin' bullets... yuh got any good loads I could try with that?...
I've not loaded alot of .44, just some for a friend of mine that had one.
Is that an all lead bullet? Hornady says they push their jacketed 240gr to about 1350fps. An all lead bullet should be somewhat slower than that, I'd guess, to stay stable. Maybe 1100fps, and it'll still hit like a mother...
