I'm facing a landmark birthday this year. Not happy about it.

been busy travellin' truck huntin', gardenin', mowin', brush hawgin', substitute teachin', huntin', guidin', emergency roomin'... well you get the point... when I finally get thekids tuh bed, been too durn tarred tuh FReep...

theboy's 6th birthday was May 1, he enjoyed it, but his birthday "Hunting Party" is next Friday...

been guidin' friends turkey huntin', ain't had no success, but I've done my part in successfully gettin' 'em intuh gun range...

found a truck, a used Dodge 2500 Diesel... sweet truck... just waitin' on the VA to cut their check to the dealer for their portion... thedealer won't let me have thetruck till he gets the VA check... he may be waitin' a few weeks, and he ain't happy 'bout it... traded my Explorer, and he wants that vehicle now... I told him, "you give me thetruck, I'll give you the Explorer"... I've already put paid my portion, but he wants me to get a loan to pay the VA portion, then he'll "sign over" the VA check to me... I think the trust should go both ways, dontchuh think?

took theboy to the emergency room yesterday... he mashed his index finger on his left hand with a 5 lb. hand maul tryin' tuh drive a stake in thegarden... needed three stitches, and had a hole bored in his nail to relieve pressure... he made me suh proud... he didn't even flinch while they were giving him injections into theknuckle... *sniff*...
