We took the older two boys to DC for the 4th of July in 1987. We also spent an entire day in the Air & Space Museum as well, but that's what the boys wanted to see. The best fun, though, was sitting on the Mall near the Capitol on the 4th, listening to Mstislav Rostropovich lead the National Symphony and watching the fireworks! I can't believe you didn't come over and say hello to me and the Mrs. We wuz probably there. Used to park at my office, just a couple of blocks away and picnic on the lawn.
