LOL! I'll give him the message. This morning I was coming out of the laundry room, after having already brought coffee to him cause he was sitting up in bed working on the laptop. He was standing in the hallway with this sh*t eating grin on his face. I didn't know what the heck was up, and he said, do you remember what day it is? I was thinking, " it's Thursday, but we've already got the trash out on the street, so what else", then I remembered it was his birthday! I must have gotten a horrified expression on my face, cause he started bouncing around laughing at me!! All I could say was "I've had so much on my mind in the last 24 hours"; he just laughed and said he knew what I meant! ARRGH!
Anyway, I'd already ordered him some t-shirts and another 'Hawaiian' shirt for the summer, so I have gifts on the way. And I had talked him into buying himself a nice Dremel tool set last weekend. We aren't going to have cake until Sunday because we're going to do a joint Birthday/Mother's Day celebration when Clare and I get back from our camping trip. The Hawaiian shirt came in this morning so I'll wrap that up, and I'll get him a card while I'm out.
I did feel rotten for a few minutes, though! ;o)
