Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
A sudden tree or standing stone
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

No, I dunno how to install them, just know that the time taken in frustration and bloody knuckle now will be worth it later.
I think you may need to start a BOZO list for the blacklist proggy as well.
(BOZO'ing someone is the same as blacklisting them, but the BOZO list is somethign you generate and tell the proggy 'these clowns'. Kinda like a Spam filter on e-mail.)
Haven't played with one yet myself.
When I get to it though, I suspect I'll have LOTS of down time and LOTS of 'fun' doing so.

It's got kneeling suspension, so it's gotta have a better suspension than the regular Stryker.
They had some other odd stuff to goof with on it as well.

Hair,
I read the Lord of the Rings trilogy about 2 years ago. When I had completed reading Return of the King, I felt as if a lover and I had broken up. It was kind of sad.
Just this week, I started to read The Hobbit. I started to read it back in high school, but never got very far. Now suddenly, I am back in the world of JRR Tolkien again!
Hungry dwarves! Singing by the firelight. Second breakfast. Dragons and adventures!
Oh--thank the Lord for good literature.

Don't worry, elctronic stuff usually sends me into brainlockup, but I grew up with it.
I can usually find my way around inside a machine well enough to get it running enough to backup iportant data prep to taking it to the pros.

LOL!
Right now I'm looking to *cough* "acquire" a Hemmet for my old unit to use.
Sorta just have it magically appear one fine morning..
Kinda like the previous one we'd had for two weeks before anyone noticed.

I haven't been here much either! - I am out mowing pasture with the lawn mower... more work than with g'nad's tractor... but I guess the one thing I have too much of is time and calories! Taking the camera with me when I go back out... so you can ooh and ahh and the number of calories burned!

MINE too!! LOL...which is why I am looking for someone else to deal with the problem of blocking comment spammers. With all due respect to computer specialists, far too many of them do NOT have the verbal skills to communicate with the general public on how to understand what they are doing. And often times the instructions they create for explaining how to implement their programs is like reading legal documents : only those of the elite group can comprehend the language. Which is real frustrating, because then some of them act superior or offended when you complain.
The man who wrote MT Blacklist is a genius for what he did, but his instructions take for granted that many people do not have the computer comprehension he does...and he got a bit snooty with me when I tried to say I was a bit put out by how I had to go about using it. A good portion of the installation involves DOS...and the last time I had to deal with DOS was right before the Internet became popular!
Anyway, our own computer keeps having problems, and since I am in charge of getting our church's newsletter out, I am trying to correct THAT situation.
Oh, here's our new website:
St. John's Old South Anglican Catholic Church basically same stuff, but new url.
