Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
A sudden tree or standing stone
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Where else could you see Luke Skywalker gargle Gershwin?

Just got another load of laundry hung out on the line. Put up the last wet sock and it started to rain.
Sigh.
It's been looking like it was gonna rain for days now.

Where else could you see Luke Skywalker gargle Gershwin? One time I saw Mark Hammill on Space Ghost: Coast to Coast and he imitated the sound of Chewbacca eating cereal :) He seems to like making weird noises :) Which he's good at--I was totally surprised when after watching months of the Batman cartoon I learned he was the voice of the Joker--he sounds totally evil there!

I wonder how that would work with seeds? I'd recommend peat pots to sprout the seeds in. They're super cheap at Walmart, too. (2 dozen for about $1 IIRC)

I think she said Ecurb actually got this one free...so I just reason that maybe if people can give them away, they might not be that pricey. Depends on what you get, though...I bet. Like regular cameras...there are cheap ones and then there are really expensive ones...

I could set up a Jen-cam...
Watch Jen type actively at her computer all day! Now watch Jen come home and watch DVDs on her computer! Now watch Jen relax by writing fiction with her computer!
That sounds thrilling. I'd rather watch Chicken-cam.

We aren't there to wave, we are up at the beach house! - if we were there, we'd have adjusted the exposure now that the sun is out. Ah well...
This particular camera is an el cheapo... one with the ability to auto expose for changing light would be better. It's actually the software and webspace to have it online that is harder, but even Yahoo can do video chat, just like we did with voice in the chat room.
