New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, |
Still round the corner there may wait |
Home is behind, the world ahead, |
LOL!
That'd be hysterical if it really did say such.
I am SO excited for you 2J. I am so happy you get to go to the Wedding Moot!
You guys could also do that Sunday instead of coming back here!
Maybe I can just get a picture of it...I don't need to go up in it...what's in it after all? 'Sides a real expensive elevator! LOL
If I can't get a picture, I'll pick up a post card somewhere.
I'm so excited!!!! I've never flown alone...even if it is just to Dallas. But I'll be flying home alone...
I once flew to my folks with just Matthew when he was very tiny...just a few weeks old. I had one of those baby slings and I just cuddled him in the sling the whole way...
Hi PQ! I missed seeing you here yesterday.
Gosh, I really gotta get my house spiffed up for OT's visit!
Oh, I'm just along for the ride...if I can see if from the distance, I'll be happy.
You got sixed.
GASP!
Well, if they are landing to the south when you come, and if you are on the right hand side, you'll see it!
I am sure OT will not mind what your house looks like.
Yeah, but she might wanna walk in it! LOL
Uh oh! That's bad 2J. You might wanna make some paths at least.
Yep...I quit 'em.
Had to anyways...Walmart quit selling 'em.
I just have this satellite dish all over my living room!
Wow I can't believe that. Good for you!
OHMYGOSH!!! You are not going to BELIEVE!!!
I was in the back of the house, spiffing up the boy's room and my room and then I thought "I better get the wet clothes on the line first." If I hadn't thought of it, it would have likely been hours before I went outside.
So I get the laundry and start hanging it up when I see something strange looking in the compost. Weird shaped. I said "Matthew, run over there, see what that is in the compost!" He runs over but then stops abruptly. "It's Jar Jar!" he says...Joshua took one look and burst into tears.
I ordered the boys in the house, because from the looks of it, it looked bad. I run over and find Jar Jar looking very perplexed, hanging upside down in the compost pile, her toe caught in the hardware mesh that our compost is made out of!
I picked her up gently and she didn't even flap...just let me pick her up and I held her and loved on her for a while, then called the boys and they ran out and loved on her. I took her in the coop and sat her down by the water. She took a drink and then without even a limp, made a bee-line for the nest box to lay an egg!
Her toe at the first joint was nearly bent backward, but she was able to grasp my finger with it...the skin is torn a bit, but no bleeding.
I'm just astounded. I have no idea how long she's been there, bless her...
Low carb happiness!
I'm eating sausages for lunch, which is one of my usual lunches. Went to the Eckerd to pick up my perscription and looked at a bag of microwave popcorn. It had a little paragraph explaining how many carbs were in a popped bag - 15 carbs in the whole thing! Microwave popcorn is my favorite treat, so I got a bag for this afternoon.
It'll be most of my carbs for the whole day, lol.
