Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
A sudden tree or standing stone
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

He has switched it to an FTP format rather than a javascript... try it again.
This should auto update every five seconds...

That's a lovely toast. I'd be a slobbery, crying fool listening to you say that to Jeanne!
Congratulations on your Anniversary, and may you have many more years to enjoy together!

Shouldn't be any software needed... the java script would have been cool because it looked like streaming video instead of choppy snapshots.

You might like Southern Illinois, or Missouri, but if you still want to see hills and mountains, you'll need to be close to the Ozarks!! Yep, that's about what I'm thinking. Though...the neighbors might be a bit troublesome...

Cool.... are you ona fast connection or dialup? - is the refresh rate flashing of it annoying? - should we slow it down?

Yay! I have a picture! I'm not going to stay on the site, though, 'cause of being at work. I'll connect again when I get home.

If we can get a camera that will show more detail in bright light, you can watch the wedding on the cam I hope! Right now we are trying to figure out how to work the software!

Well, they just went back out to pasture now.... and it's too bright out there to see. I'll go out in a minute and call them back in.
The javascript format was better and avoided the flashing when it updated, ecurbh is trying to figger why it didn't work for you guys.

Leave it on or refresh it. Sometimes if there is a glitch you'll get the red x for one shot, but the next one will come through.
