Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

A sudden tree or standing stone

New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We’ll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

As soon as he heard Ari Fleischer was going to be on Jeopardy with him, Aaron Brown should have just conceded.

"I lost on Jeopardy, baby. . ."

Well, msdrby has an excuse... and me too!

Oh, it weren't an indictment. Just an observation.

And the desk does look more green now. Nice job.

Now if ya could just clean up that guy sittin' at it.

He does look a little rough! ;~D This job has been hard on him today, and then there's me interrupting right in the middle to say "honey can you stop what you are doing, take your computer apart, and help me organize furniture? ~pleeeeeze~?

Wow, 2J... that's a tough one. The only thing I've come up with that lets things make any sense to me is:

"Death is no loss, from the Lord's point of view."

Oh, dear God... you need a Rock-n-Roll intervention, in the worst way. Some AC/DC, some AeroSmith, some Foghat, some ZZTop, and if that goes well... maybe some Rush.

Turn it up to eleven. :-)

LOL! Been there, done that--was listening to AC/DC when they still had Bon Scott :) And I do have a special speaker that goes up to 11, so it's louder than other speakers.

BTW, speaking of that, are we going to do Stonehenge?

I think that the problem may have been that there was a Stonehenge monument on the stage that was in danger of being crushed by a dwarf.
