This may be an especially good time to stay out of hospitals and doctors offices and maybe even occasionally to wash our hands.

My son had an ingrown toenail removed the other day.
The Dr. painted his whole big toe with Gentian Violet.

Gentian Violet is an extremely powerful antiseptic that is also a permanent dye. Any skin it gets on stays a bright purple till it wears away.
It has always been used on animals, but they haven't felt it necessary to use it on people since the invention of antibiotics.

I take this to mean the antibiotic resistant staph and strep are gaining ground.

Re: flying on Southwest with firearms. I flew on SW to visit my mom last week. For some unknown reason, TSA decided to inspect my luggage. It didn't make it to Boise with me, and had to be delivered the next morning. I'm sure that the agents really enjoyed paying through a middle-aged woman's socks and underwear. At least it was on the outbound trip, and was still clean.
