So let me see if I have this right. Grown men wear gloves and take sticks out onto ice where they hit at a little "puck" (whatever that is) and have "face-offs" and "blue lines" and "icing" and "goalees" and "high sticking" and "slap shots" and other cute little expressions for things that nobody cares about.
When they tire of skating, they throw off their gloves and attempt to pulverize and paralyze each other for which they get to play in the "penalty box" where the more violent offenders are placed side by side so that they can hold hands, sing "Kumbaya" and make up. Doesn't sound like football to me.
