Well, I can't find a dress now that goes with the flowers we picked to go with the other dress!

I think we might have to go with solid color.

Are we talkin' the blue and yellow flowers?

Nothin' will in any way work?

I mean a solid is okay if it's okay with you... I don't want you to be disappointed though.

Hi, this is LSA. OB misplaced his modifier (a not uncommon occurence!) and meant to say that the rain might be headed towards g'nads, not us. We are looking forward to a Missouri (and Kansas, if OT wants to come) moot sometime this spring/summer, but it would be quite a surprise for us to turn up unannounced Easter weekend!!

I am not going to be disappointed about whether there is a pattern on her dress ;~D

It's just that I haven't found a way to seach for solids, and the prints I've seen conflict too much.

Okay, what size is Sonya? This dress has blues and antiquish yellows. With golds, browns, tans and a little bit of mauve and burgundy.

The white door I put it on kinda makes it look darker than it is.

It's not bad for matching! - A little shorter than she wanted.

Yes, it is slightly above my knees. It would not work if Sonya has boobs. It fits me. I tried some photos with it on... but it's hard to take a full dress photo with the dress on and my hand stretched out with the camera. However, the colors are more true in those photos.

I am going in the den and look through my fabric to see if I have any of that fabric left. If I do, perhaps something could be made for Sonya from that... Just a few minutes .. let me see... though I know *you* might not be wanting the trouble of having something made!

It would be a lot of trouble to have something made at this distance, but I appreciate your willingness to help me!

It really shouldn't be that hard to find something.

I even like this: with the little shirt in case it is cold! Done.

Again I ask that you pass this on. WE got a new update on Lt. Brown. He was able to call home and is doing well. Thank you all for all your support and prayers. Matt is a very good friend of mine and will be joining the police force with me when he returns. I look forward to serving at home with him too. I also learned of another soldier injured today. Jarob Walsh (also from our company) was shot in the foot in the same attack. He is currently in Germany having several toes amputated, but is said to be doing well. Again Prayers for Pvt Walsh. Thank you again for the support and prayers. I am suggesting that all of you not send any packages to Iraq till things cool off. Mail is suspended as all of the trucks are being attacked. I will keep you all posted on any updates with our injured. God Bless you all.
Steve

That is pretty! I like that style too.

Ummm... the dress I showed you the picture of, I also made a little jacket to go with it. It has no sleeves but it might go well with that dress.

So, if it might be cold, shall us Texas and Florida gals bring Hawaiian print sweaters? LOL

Happy Belated Birthday! Sorry I missed it yesterday. Since you already had all that cake and ice cream and stuff, I thought you might be wanting some REAL food!

Post 875 has an update on Lt. Brown from Steve! It is good news but we have another young man Pvt Walsh to focus our prayers on now! Here is the text of Steve's post.

I miss U-Tote-em burgers. It's just so much fun to say. :-)

Reminds me of 'Whattaburgers', a chain in the South. We had them in Tallahassee, and for a while when I was pregnant with our first (Paul), SSQ had to go every night and get me some french fries because they were all I could hold down.

The day after Paul was born, my friend, Nancy, brought me a Whattaburger cheeseburger, fries and a milkshake in the hospital. Now THAT's a friend
