Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Still round the corner we may meet...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Grumble, grumble, grumble...couldn't find the stoopid patch.

we supposedly have an awesome firewall and top of the line virus protection, etc - yet, almost half of the building was infected by Monday morning. *shakes head* There are lots of *former* IT Directors that had "awesome firewalls and top of the line virus protection". That's yet another reason why I don't get cocky about success with whatever virus-du-jour is cruising the net. You always think you have good protection until that defense fails.

Sitting in a bunker... here behind my wall
Waiting for the worms to come.
In perfect isolation here behind my wall

Would ya'll believe that this one student just saved his final exam drawing 20 different times with 20 different names? Everytime he completed one step on the drawing he saved it as a different name. And he's mad at me because his disk is full.
On some of his saves, he erased work that he had done on previous parts of the exam because they were in his way and saved on another drawing. Therefore, only a minute amount of the drawing even appears on his last saved drawing! The work is scattered randomly over all 20 drawings!!
For this too I am getting the blame! "Why didn't you tell me?"
WN < --[pulling hair and growling] Where the heck does this come from? We've been drawing 2 to 4 drawings per class for 10 weeks! NONE of the PREVIOUS drawings from class were done this way!!!!

Don't you have some sort of time limit on these tests?Yes honey, I do. I'm being unreasonably anxious to get out. It is my last night to work for at least 3 weeks!!! I want to get out of here!!! They have till 9:00 my time. About 45 more minutes. But, the other students were all gone before 7.... ~snif~
