Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Still round the corner we may meet...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

I was the same way with my hair when Myranda was born. I would braid my hair during the day to work but that was it. So, while in labor my hair was also an issue. At that time it was long enough that if I didn't move it I sat on it. Myranda's dad kept having to pull it back out of my way so I wasn't pulling my own hair while pushing!

Ooh, good spam Corin! Glad to see you haven't lost your touch.
Man am I tired. Long day at work. Dealing with database issues. I hate databases with a passion...

My honey has been cursing about them for three days 'cuz of this job he's doin'.
I actually like database design, in Access. If I can design the whole thing from scratch. It is hard for me to look at other people's work.

I haven't even been designing them, just trying to get them set up with the software. Turns out MSDE2000 doesn't actually have a user interface tool to import databases. I have to do it with command-line prompts. It's a real pain.

I don't currently have anything running on eBay (gotta get to work). Here's my selling website.
The Humble Dwarf
Needs some work and I gotta upgrade to shopping cart technology, but that takes bucks.

Good for you on the disaster relief signup. I tried to sign up for emergency communications for natural disasters, etc. But my boss wouldn't let me volunteer. Says my job is "too important." Whatta crock!
Then on my evaluation he'll say I'm "non responsive."

So, if'n I go to Microsoft and install the relevant updates, I'm cool right? As long as I'm running my McAfee Anti-virus stuff?
I'd hate to have Sasser pop up on my computer...
