Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Still round the corner we may meet...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

With all the "less experienced" Busch drivers, there's bound to be a Big One.
Oh yeah....someone in the pits had a gas can with a broken seal, but I think they fixed it.

Almost the last, yep. But of course I have a lot to do this weekend. And I had to run to the office to print some stuff for my dad, and it took an hour that I don't have.
So I still have who knows how much homework... hours worth, at least. Ah well. It's sunny out and I can enjoy the birds flying past the window.

Gas can - broken seal - silicone sealer or JB Weld. Fixes in a jiffy.
Well, all going to the pit now. Gotta check the sausage.

Birds are enjoyable--as long as they're not crebain out of Fangorn and Dunland--gotta watch out for those :) It was nice of ya to print the stuff for your dad. How many finals do you have after your homework is done?

Pony this morning sleeping on her breakfast, till I got too close and she popped up. The height of laziness. I've seen other ponies do that, too.
Have you longed the pony yet? That's the first step, getting them to realize they have to work.

Actually, I don't have finals this semester - to make up for it, i've got a LOT of homework that comes due this week. Mostly in writing class - I have to hand in 20 1-page writing journal entries (and, um, I got behind on those), a revision of my last story, a "writer's statement", and something else... hmmm
And there's a major assignment for AI that the professor just threw at us. Plus dealing with graduation stuff - I have to make up a list of people to invite, that sort of thing.
Right, I can't take this. Must take a break. Three guesses what sort.

Ranma break!--woohoo! :)
It's kinda nice you don't have finals. I bet you could crank out 20 1-page writing jounral entries fast--just take our emails and take clips from our editorial discussions, our average email is probably like 3 pages long anyway :) Good luck on the AI assignment. Dealing with the graduation stuff would be the biggest pain for me, I think--I hate dealing with that kind of stuff. My attitude is, just mail me the diploma fer crying out loud! :)

She lunges and drives, and I have bridled her and done all I can with her short of sticking some child on her.... Haven't found any parents with extra children they would risk!
Jumping cavaletti on the lunge.

Here is the site on teaching her to bow... Teaching you horse tricks.

Unfortunately, 15 of the 20 are assigned topics. And they're all boring. I'm over halfway done, even with Ranma break.
I'd rather not even show up for the stupid ceremony, too, but it's expected. Ah well.

Too bad they're assigned topics. My sympathies on the ceremony. But at least it's almost over!!! :)

I've kept mine clean as I've cooked so they're good. And I've got the taquito stuff, guisada and frijoles simmerin' so I'm done.
OH OH There they went!
