Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Still round the corner we may meet...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

I've been remiss in that, I've had his address for about 2 weeks and forgot him!Send me his address, and I can mail a knife out Monday. I'm still waiting for the snips I ordered, so I can't send one with the knife. How are the two dozen I sent you holding out?

I used 1 dozen of the 2 dozen in the packages I just mailed. Like with that first bunch of knives I don't like to put too many in one package cause I don't trust somebody not to take it for them. I know, I'm not very trusting.

I know, I'm not very trusting.I don't blame you. I trusted the post office with 24 knives once, and look where it got me (and the troops).

I still haven't dug out Jay's address yet. That was the reason I forgot him yesterday, I printed the address at work and put it somewhere ????? And if you saw my house right now you'd understand that better! LOL It's either in one of the three briefcases I carry or my bag for my laptop. Will freepmail it to you when I get it.

Did you ever hear anymore about the insured part of that? Did they ever honor *anything?* Dunno yet. They said investigation would take "several months". I hope to eventually hear something from them one way or another.
And kind of insurance claim for shipping is nororiously hard to win. We used to ship computer via FedEx, insured. One came in all smashed to pieces, obviously run over (several times) by a truck. FedEx sent their claims rep to look at it, and make a report. Months later, we called on the claim, and they said, "it's our fault, we're not going to pay for it, and there's nothing you can do about it."

Pony this morning sleeping on her breakfast, till I got too close and she popped up.

I am looking at methods on line to teach her some tricks.... like to bow. She's too little for me to ride, but maybe she can do something! She is a natural contortionist, if only I can get her to make a few of her funny positions on command.

To: HairOfTheDog
That would be fun to do, teaching the pony tricks! I am sure it will take a lot of time and effort but really fun.

Just drive fast, turn left. They've already lapped some cars. A Wallace hasn't wrecked yet. :)
