Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Still round the corner we may meet...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

How could Ranma get any weirder? :)

Well, I thought I had short *easy* lesson plans scheduled for both my morning class and my evening class. Had a pedicure appointment and a short faculty meeting this afternoon also but one thing led to another and I have just been running all day.
I did have a good visit with one of the teachers from another campus 70 miles from here - took up an enjoyable hour or so of the afternoon... and then my boss and his wife took me out to eat so all the running wasn't all that bad!
Just neither of the short, easy classes turned out that way!
Did Becky have fun with you today? I could take her with me too if she was close enough!

She had a blast! There were lots of kids there in my department today, so she was crying when I said it was time to go home.
She's there crying and I'm trying to go home!! LOL!!

I never got to take my kids to work. I always thought I would like to though. hehehe... maybe someday I can "borrow" Becky, before she gets too old to want to do it. Or maybe I'll have to take Allison! :-)

I'm not sure how, but it does. After a while, the sex-changes etc become normal, that's how weird it gets.

It is hard for me to remember that you are young enough that your kids are my grandkids ages! YIKES!

That sounds pretty weird. . .
I've gotta get off line a bit to try to make a phone call. If I don't get back before you go to bed, have a good night! Hope you feel better tomorrow, Jen!
