how on earth do children sleep in such contortionist positions? It seems to me that they would get cricks in necks, or lose blood circulation in arms or legs, or suffocate from sleeping with face in pillow. On top of that, sleeping with knees next to the head! My goodness.

Har Har!!! I could have helped you out with the City Attorney...but that person quit today to head for quieter climes!

High in gub'mint is what the former City Manager was after many rounds at El Gaucho.

Well, I'm back... went shopping, got some tops and a bathing suit. Remember what I wore at Entmoot, Rosie? Well, now I have a real suit. Almost slightly modest. I hate bathing suits, though.

I'd have to say there are probably few women who DON'T hate bathing suits to some extent. ;-)

G'morning... yawn... had to put the little guy on the bus, everyone else had appointments this morning. Now I'm at work and none of my caffeine is cold. Grr.

Oh well.

And I'm sure you're right, most women hate bathing suits. It's kind of humiliating to even try them on, you know.

Ew...warm caffeine?

Oh...wait a minute...what's this cup here? ;-)

Actually, my coffee this morning is decaf, which is probably a bad idea. We'll see how this goes. The diet book kinda says you probably SHOULD give caffeine up at first, but you don't HAVE to. I'm going to see just how bad withdrawal is before I decide one way or the other.

What kind of suit did you end up with, by the way?

Don't give up the caffeine. I guarantee it's not necessary.

I got a swim-shorts and top set. It was more modest than the one-pieces and doesn't actually show any flesh between. Plus I'm going to borrow a sarong if I ever get near a pool. That should help me feel better about walking around in underwear.

I'm thinking I may walk down and get a "real" coffee later. 'Cause feeling reallllly dumb doesn't help work performance much. Doesn't help that I didn't sleep that well. Kept having dreams where I suddenly found myself stuffing my face with bread and then realizing I was going to ruin the diet. I'm thinkin' that'll pass in a day or so...

What color is your suit? Heh...yeah, swimwear IS basically underwear, isn't it? I have a one piece, but it's very modestly cut.

The bottoms are blue, and the top is blue and white. Honestly, it was so much work finding a top that, well, covered. Bathing suits these days aren't for coverage, they're for advertising.

I know what you mean! Most of the ones I tried, even in a sports store, had a big ol' scoop neck that came down to...well, they didn't cover much.

And even if I was ok with the not covering - which I'm not - well, I can't wear those scoop necks. No, um, support at all.
