Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Still round the corner we may meet...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Right, that was about the strangest episode yet. Romeo and Juliet, 'Ranma' style. Four Romeos, one of whom also performed as the duplicate Juliet. Is nothing sacred?
Better get to bed. See ya tomorrow.

Four Romeos? Weird! I have to see that one!--that really does sound like that Jet Li movie, only perhaps even weirder.
Have a good night!

I think I have all the things I *need* but there are still things I *want* for the baby and don't have.
I did buy two more outfits the other day, the coming home outfit. I could not make up my mind, so I bought both. Elf-boy pick out one of them, and I picked the other.
Can't have too many onesies. I don't have a changing pad, or a babytub. I am on the lookout for a babybouncer. I saw one at the last consignment sale, but was too late - someone had already bought it. We could use more bottles as well. I bought an Avent VIA feeding kit that uses disposable storage containers. Really liked the Avent bottles when elf-boy was little. He was able to use the same bottles all the way into toddlerhood. I just changed the nipples out for handles and sipping spouts.

You would love this, elf-boy and beardog are crashed on beardog's new bed again. She is using him as a pillow. He has his arms up under the back of his head, fingers locked together. He almost looks ready to do situps, except that he has a doggie sleepin on him.

What a cute picture that must be!
Well, if you wouldn't mind FR mailing me your address - I'd love to send a small gift for the baby.
