Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Still round the corner we may meet...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

oh, and the 2nd amendment is favorable. he thinks the only way for us to maintain freedom as a nation is for all citizens to remain armed. :-)

Is there another restaurant in Wichita Falls you might be investigating soon?

It's times like this that it *really* pisses me off that I wasted two years of my life learning French. What, for the luvva God was I thinkin?Same here for two years of German. But four years of Latin, in high school, was one of the best educational investments I ever made.
Try Polish, it seems they really don't use vowels. They just get by with lots of w, y, and z.

Hey now. Picard might have been a cheese eating surrender monkey, but he wouldn't tolerate the shenanigans this commission has pulled. All kidding aside, this commission is a show trial, and the RATs are merrily dancing on the graves of murdered Americans, all to regain power. Even in the middle of a war, power comes first.
Why do I get the feeling that if they get in again, they have no intention of ever leaving?

Good morning!
HAPPY FRIDAY!!!
I finally have a day to relax! Wheeee! We're gearing up for a "live fire" cycle that'll have me "on range" for about three weeks coming up. It'll be cool and very interesting and crazy busy- worse than it's been lately. Ah well. At least I can vacuum and do laundry today. Yaay!

Lil' is hosting (although she maybe don't know it yet). LOL- I volunteered *you* already! (You weren't around to defend yourself... muahahaha)
But sure, if we get to have another freeper ball folks can crash at our place.
Though last time we booked a hotel near Greenbelt- one of the outlying metro stations. It was the craziest durn thing riding the metro in a formal- crazier still to see everyone else on the metro in formals, too! Not having to drive back up that night allowed us to stay longer. It was a grand time- the best party in town. We know this 'cuz toward the end the place was just flooded with people who had no screen-name nametags. They said their dances were soooooo boring and ours was rockin' so they came on over.

All kidding aside, this commission is a show trial, and the RATs are merrily dancing on the graves of murdered Americans, all to regain power. Agreed. And we just have to make sure that they NEVER get in power again.
(good mornin' folks)
Got a vey brief email from Josh. Just said "thanks for checkin' on me"...
