Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Still round the corner we may meet...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

There is a point were you don't try to wash it out... you just toss in some blue dye and call it a day.

LOL, I am just about there!
I tell ya, just went to the county election site. We had a runoff today for railroad commission and for JP. Jeez, voter turnout was 1.45%. I don't think this election was even advertised in the paper. It is a damn shame when the elections are done this way. They make it as inconvenient as possible, so that people won't want to exercise their privilege to vote. Not even a 2% turnout, what a crying shame.

Speakung of laundry... Not sure how it happened, but yesterday, PE and I managed to do a tie-die wash, LOL. Everything in the wash has blue spots. Am rewashing as we speak. If the rewash doesn't work, I'm gettin out the bleach!LOL! Well, look on the bright side: if you can't get the stains out, you can always sell it as tie-dye! :)
To: Fedora
Yeah, it was mostly my stuff too, heh, maternity clothes at that!
It was especially funny cuz I didn't noticed the blue spots until PE said soemthing to me tonight before dinner. I went ALL DAY wearing clothes with blue spots all over them. LOL (kinda glad I didn't know ~ how embarrassing).

Hi you all.
I saw it on another thread, (Constitution Day) about where the FR homepage went and thought everyone needed to see it.
I believe it's intended to simulate one of the feelings you get after too much beer, etc.
It's fairly successful

At first glance, my reflex was to re-adjust my glasses, then it dawned on me... it ain't my glasses, it's the picture.

Good night everyone...Not me, it's just about lunchtime for me. But the second I try to take a bite, the phone will ring, even though it's been silent for hours.
