I doubt that it's all going into the pockets of Big Oil, I'll bet Big Abortion, Big Movie, Big Pro-Sports, Big Drug War, etc have taken their BIG SHARE too.

I don't think so! The REAL tax cuts will come when people begin filing their income taxes and find out they will be receiving HUGE refunds.
While I was expecting about 1500, I ended up getting 2400. I am almost debt free because of this. I got to pay off my car 4 months early.
This surprised increase in refunds is going to cause people to go out and buy those big ticket items - which in turn generates more work, which in turn causes companies to hire more people to produce those products ordered.

John Kerry is deeply troubled.
(The Tom Daschle thing is so passé.)

I'm all for tax cuts. It's just that since these things were implemented, our gas prices have skyrocketed. The cheapest gas around here is $2.07 a gallon. I have noticed that everytime the price begins to drift lower, there is an explosion at a refinery, or they have to retool a plant. There seems to be a constant reason why the price must go up. It's a wonderful place to be, when all you have to do is find some way to have less fuel and drive the price up. How many other industries in this country would love to be in this position?
