Hiya Jen!
Just got off the phone with an old friend of mine who lives in Southern California, out in the Antelope Valley.
He pulled four people out of a flaming car wreck last night (he had to pull a door off of the car and cut the seat belt) and got them clear and protected about 10 seconds before the car exploded. He had to get the burning clothes off of the driver. He had checked on the motorcyclist, who was obviously dead on the scene.
He's a biker himself, and about the last person you'd expect God to work a miracle through. I am proud to have him as a friend. He hasn't slept a wink yet. He came home and washed all of the blood and crap off of himself, and he's still pacing off the adrenaline.
I am thinking about posting a vanity about it, but not sure if he'd be comfortable with all of the attention. If he'd have done that in uniform in a combat zone, he'd be up for some tin.
I had some heart problems last night, keeping an eye on it this morning, with a 'go' bag packed for the hospital if need be. I think I'll be OK at this point. Happy Sunday!

Your friend is a Hero! Wow! Thank God he came along to save those people. Is he a FReeper?
Prayers heavenward for your health! Take care of yourself Riley. Is there some way you could let us know if you do go into the hospital?
