Our wedding reception WAS very interesting. The fact that the champagne flowed very freely had nothing to do with the best man and my father's urologist jumping off the upper patio wall eight feet into the deep end of the pool . . . or the cat taking a bite out of the wedding cake . . . or with the bagpiper . . . who played for the wedding party to dance a Sword Dance (have you ever tried that in your mother's satin wedding gown with a chapel train? It CAN be done, but only after 3-4 glasses of champagne).
It was a very exciting wedding. . . back in 1977. And we have the negatives (locked in our safe)!
