Kerry's dog John Kerry scares me.
There. I said it.
Of course, George W. Bush is a bit of a pisser too, but I suspect that he laughs at himself once in a while.
Plus, he's got a dog. Any man who's got a dog can't be all bad.
Trying out a Google search on "John Kerry dog" got some wonderful hits, but it didn't tell me if he has a dog. (And let's keep his his wife out of this-let's nip that one in the bud, OK?)
Since it's now come down to Bush vs. Kerry I have to pick some issue to help me decide which one is to be The Man for the next four years.
Cats are OK too, but I kinda suspect that any cat in the Kerry household is one of those long haired white jobs that has a second job as a movie villian or a prop for the same.
So, if Kerry has a dog just what kind of dog is it? It's gotta be a pure breed-no garbage hounds for him. You know, the type of dog that he has just could be it for me, since I really can't think of anything else positive about him.
Let's face it, Kerry as President is going to mean complete and total gridlock in the government since it's not as if a Republican Congress is going to let him do jack. Maybe that's a good reason to vote for him-there's a lot to be said for gridlock.
Anyway, I just want to know if Kerry has a dog.

Sure he could afford $1200 (I researched buying one once). It seems they are extremely popular in dog shows, which may in part explain the price; ever heard of Mick? Ranking-wise, they are/were 115th most popular breed in US.

Oh yes I know of Mick; he was big (just retired correct?). I can't recall if he won Westminster or just missed it, but he did win Crufts, rite? I saw Kerrys plenty in dog shows, but seeing WPGs was almost never (once at Old Dominion), and even Sussex and Clumbers were more rare. (This was 15 years ago when I was quite into it; have only seen a tiny bit since.) Generally I always got to see each of the Terriers. ;-) I'm afraid $1200 is a drop in the bucket compared to many Euro GSD pups; if you're lucky you can get 1 that cheap from half-decent bloodlines (or should I say, popular). I have managed to find some cheap Euro-lined pups for no more than most American lines, but they're - really cheap! (I love the 2 I bought in the last couple years but they do have problems; the 1st 1 I sold cuz I couldn't handle her issues as a pet.) Anyway I believe alot of "top" pups would go for that much. Rarity doesn't help cost, either; altho sometimes it actually does if no1 wants them!

WPG=Wirehaired Pointing Griffon.
I'm trying to figure out what GSD stands for. Could you drop me a hint?

GSD = German Shepherd Dog (I couldn't care less for the "dog" part, like, ***duh*** - but every1 does it. They seem stuck on the exact German translation, wherein "dog" was necessarily part; but frankly we in English don't need it.)

I just read on an AKC page that John Kerry has a German Shepherd.

He'll need more than a German Shepherd to help him win...
