When I said their platform was "interesting," I was being diplomatic. I can't believe these people are serious.
What exactly is wrong with the Constitution Party platform? Too conservative?

Please see my reply #20. There are many parts of this platform that I find appealing. However, there are some parts that have me wondering.

Actually I don't agree with doing away with electronic voting, but the point is that we need a way to manually verify each ballot, and many electronic voting machines don't allow this.
Many parties should be able to review ballots and come to agreement on the number of votes.
We need to have ballots that are machine-readable for fast tabulation, but they need to be readable by humans so that flaws (or biases in the logic of counting programs that might pass for a bug) could be confirmed and verified by whoever seeks to do so.

I happen to be a member of the party. And if you want to make fun of me for it, you're just another liberal.

To follow up on this, no, gay men will not go to jail, because the only federal crimes are counterfeiting, espionage, and treason. And if the Constitution were really followed, the Senate would not be corrupt, so we would not have to worry about that.
I must admit, although I have been active in the CP for quite some time, I have never seen that part about the 17th amendment. I'll have to look back to it.

How many electoral votes did you folks get in this last election?
