HELP!!!! I am busily packing for my trip tomorrow AND the mail came with a letter from a LIBERAL friend and a newspaper article: "Scientists: Bush distorting work."

Now, I know this article has been going around forever and I know that most of the "noted scientists" quoted are certifiable NUTS, i.e. Paul Ehrlich. Also listed are David Baltimore, Lewis Branscomb, Gerald Fischbach, Neal Lane, Leon Lederman, Jane Lubchenco, Sherwood Rowland, Harold Varmus and ED Wilson.

Can you all point me to a site on the web where I can read some info to answer this delusional friend?

I just did a search on FR and a few articles that didn't mention any specifics on the science. Freepers did an opensecrets search and said the scientists in question were quacks, contributed to the Democrats and that whenever anyone says "it's not political", we can be sure it's political.

With a friend like that, you don't need enemies.
