Kangaroo, am I ever glad to make your acquaintance. That article is riveting.
In any case, it underscored a truism about our war in Iraq and our conventional efforts to limit Islamic and pan-Arab nationalist aims: every American soldier who dies today is sacrificing himself for innocent muslim and other mideastern human beings.
Whatever we do with our regular armies today may be preventing the absolute and massive amount of retribution we might be required to make should the extremists' promises ever be fullfilled. One need only look at the suffering in the eyes of our 9/11 victims' families, or watch the WTC jumpers float downward to see why we fight. And fight we will. Stand with us now to save the human race from untold horrors to come should we have to respond in kind to the destruction they have promised us!

'HILLARY and TERRORISM's plan to regain the White House'
http://www.Freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1022571/posts ...as reports emerge this weekend that HILLARY could start up as a VP Running Mate ...
...just as we learn that Al Qaeda has had the Suitcase NUKE's since 1998 that could propel her to the top spot.

Too right. And this is why Australia stands behind the United States in their fight to stamp out terrorism.
I was in the USA when the Bali, Indonesia, bombings, which killed 202 people (88 of them Australian nationals) happened on the night of October 12th, 2002. Seeing the burnt and bloodied bodies of those who survived - as well as those who did not - stiffened the resolve of a country which was already behind the "War on Terror" from the start.
We may be only 20 million. But we have well over ten times that number of potential Islamic extremists RIGHT on our northern doorstep... (Bali is more the exception than the rule in Indonesia, as many of the Balinese are Hindu or animist peoples. Many, MANY other Indonesians, however, are Islamic - in fact, Australia sits just south of the largest Islamic nation in the world.)
This is not your fight, America (or the UK, for that matter...) this is our fight. Lest we forget.
