Just finished Bernard Cornwell's book Heretic about an English archer during the 1300s

Whoa! Is he tracing the advent of the longbow in the book? That should be great!

Actually, it's in the same vein as his Sharpe's series... only they got bows steaduh rifles... he does a fair job with the medieval setting...
