Well... I'm back.

One reason I never did do much bow shooting with my dad was that he was always wanting us to use compound bows that were *way* to hard for me. I would do well with a light bow. Was a fair shot, but he'd try to get me to use that compound bow and I couldn't draw it.

My dad - back then - was one of those guys that didn't think girls oughtta be doing that stuff. So, I didn't get to shoot much of anything like my brothers did. I was the only girl. He thought I oughtta be cleanin' and cookin'.

*sigh*

Now my dad will tell anyone that his favorite hunting buddy is my youngest daughter! I'm glad he finally got straight on that!
