I would expect that it will be hard to look at, and I fully expect that.
I have been fascinated so far by the extreme polarization that has been occurring in the reviews. Clearly, the film brings people to a decision point, and it is left to the individual to decide what to do with what they have seen.
Seems to me that it is very much like the gospel in that regard. Eventually everyone must confront it and make a decision about it. People will have taken sides whether they like it or not. In many ways, that's just like the gospels themselves.
It may well be that this mere movie, if it really captures what I hope it might, could be the small stone that starts an avalanche.

I have been pretty shocked at the criticism of the movie. I believe it must be very powerful to have received this much hatred. But, then, that is the way with a lot of Christian issues in our time.
I will see it. You may have to scrape me off the sidewalk afterward though.
