Two killed by Seattle-to-Portland Amtrak train

CENTRALIA, Wash. (AP) — Two people missed being hit by one Amtrak passenger train but were struck from behind and killed by another Amtrak train Sunday night, authorities said....The two victims had just gotten out of the way of a southbound train and were standing in the northbound tracks when they were struck from behind by a passenger train traveling from Portland, Ore., to Seattle, Melonas said.
The sick comedy in this.... is that I would call almost getting hit by one train a pretty bad day....
So, like, how many people want to just stand around on RR tracks anyhow? If I was just missed by one train, I don't think I'd wanna be "standing" on another set of tracks. Ya gotta wonder....
