We got to do a little varmint hunting in the front yard yesterday. We noticed a rat coming down out of the hill, going after some cat food that was tossed out the door. Norway rat. Not a real big one, but not a juvenile, maybe a foot long nose to tail.

Used the 8 inch .357 with snakeshot. Dad poked the barrel out the slider just as Mr. Rat was making a return trip for munchies... Bang.

Fer a little critter he sure did bleed a lot. Now he's crab food. The circle of life rolls on.

That sounds like a nice weekend adventure though... just about the right amount after your week in SF. Have a restful weekend lookin' at your rocks other than that?
