I really like how the two storylines interweave. There's a little humor in the Mr. Dunworthy storyline (Finch and the bellringers and William Gadstone's mother), which I think makes the whole book less dark.
Mmm... maybe I should reread it...

Good morning all!
It is gloriously warm here! 53 degrees! But it's windy and apparently gonna get worse...had an alert on my WeatherBug about it even.
OK gives a whole new meaning to the word windy! Every year it's the same...Spring starts coming and WHOOSH! These unbelievable winds hit, blowing just like crazy. And I'm not talkin' gusts...although the gusts can be even worse...I'm talking sustained winds of 45, 50 mph.
I remember one night during "The Big Windy" as Steve and I call it...the entire house creaked under the pressure of the wind and the news said it had times of sustained winds of 90mph. It was incredible.
Well, apparently The Big Windy has begun, which means Spring isn't too far away.
