We started "40 Days of Purpose" today at our church

We start next Sunday... lookin' forward to it... we invited nine of the neighbors to the home study... doubt we'll get more than four tho'... oh well... all we can do is ask... the Spirit takes it from there...

Ya got the right attitude there gnad. I started a home Bible study for single moms back in 98. I lived 35 miles outside Waco and most of the ladies I invited lived in Waco. I figured I'd be having 2 or 3. But, those 3 really wanted this. First meeting I had 6 ladies. After that it just grew and grew. Got to where we didn't have enough room in the house and were having to use 2 rooms to sit everybody. I'd sit in the doorway between the 2 rooms.

Truthfully, that's part of the reason I get so listless here. Myranda and I both tried to start a home Bible study here. Nobody ever showed. We've gone to 3 different groups already within our church and they just fizzle. Need that Spirit intervention.

Myranda and a friend had a peer home Bible study in Waco also. They met at the friend's house. It was a goin' group too and I had a blast bein' one of the adult leadership people. I liked workin' with those teens!
