Brown is not a good color for tap water.

Yeah, but fortunately I have lots of bottled spring water on hand...remember? I used to keep it under the dresser? Since I got the house tidy, it has it's own place in the saferoom closet.

I'll bathe in the brown water, but I won't drink it or cook with it!

Probably they are working on a line somewhere...it knocks deposits off the pipes or something...at least that's what they tell us.

This happens ocassionally.

Huh - I have never lived on a water system other than a private well. I feel out of control enough now with the store owning the well and needing to shut it down from time to time.
