I'm readin' David Limbaugh's Persecution, How Liberals are Waging War Against Christians
right now...I get suh mad I want tuh bust sumthin, and so despairin' I pray I can fight the good fight...That's exactly why I won't read that book. It's one of those books that I can't read more than a few pages without throwing it against the wall. I think I have a good idea of what the book says, seeing the ongoing war against any religion that won't subordinate itself to liberalism.
Ever since the end of official southern-style segregation, the one thing always presented as the greatest danger to America is "right-wing Christians", or some variation of that theme. Not communists, or terrorists, not drug dealers, although they appear for brief periods on the liberal radar screen. It's just them pesky Christians that place God above both the Consolidated Federal Regulations, and the RAT party that was intended by nature to run the government, that require constant monitoring.

Agreed Mr Mag.
I got into a most disagreeable argument with one of the guys in my office some weeks back, and it really left me somewhat stunned.
He's a bigtime Bush-hater, and I knew that going in. Whatever, I figgered. I've got facts on my side. No worries.
But as the discussion deteriorated over the space of the evening it became clear that his hatred of Bush was far beyond any rational explanation. I finally had to ask him point blank what really upset him so much about Bush.
"Because Bush will suspend the constitution and will set up a Christian Theocratic government and will outlaw any further elections."
I just sat there with my mouth agape. What do you say to that? I'd like to think he's just nutty, but I really think that he's merely a window into the current "progressive" thinking. I think this is what they really do happen to believe.
