Here are pictures of the Blue and Gold Banquet. This is a family picture. Did you ever see a kid hold his head so high?
Here I am at the table with the two jedis.
Now this picture is a little blurry, but we're basically flipping Matthew upside down to get his Bear pin. (I don't know why.) Steve flipped, I pinned and Joshua courteously held his cap on for him!
We had a good time, can you tell?

You guys make a very attractive family! And I really truly mean that. Steve has more of a beard now, no? Looks nice.
Appears much fun was had by all! Do they give out parent pins when boys in Cubs make rank? They do for Boy Scouts...my poor mother got pricked every time, I think! They have the boys themselves pin 'em on. My brothers weren't the deftest at that...

Catching up; Evening 2J: those are some great pictures of the blue and gold; Is the flipping the cub scout a local tradition? Although I was a cub scout (back in The First Age); I think I would have remembered that :-)
Everyone looks pleased as punch, that is a fine looking family.
Back then we wore our cub scout uniforms to class on Den Days, same with the brownies. A lot of us were in cub scouts in those days.
