Ok...according to my tip calculator (that I have to use, because I'm a moron when it comes to such stuff), my $6 haircut would require $1.20 for a 20% tip. My $7 manicure would call for $1.40 tip at 20%.

I gotta tell you! My tip calculator is part of my new CELLULAR PHONE!! My mom added me to her plan and gave me a phone that my dad just couldn't figure out. Dad got a new one.

This phone has all the bells and whistles, very swank. It's a itty bitty thing! Only a little bigger than 4"! I have unlimited nights and weekends, but can only use it sparingly otherwise, because I'm sharing my parent's minutes. We have 1000 total minutes.

It looks just like this one, except it doesn't say Cricket on the screen.

My parents just worried all the time about me being out somewhere and breaking down. Or trying to get hold of me with me on-line. So they did this. I'm thrilled!

Hey 2j! That is VEY cool about the phone! Yesterday morning Myranda called me from her cell phone. You know I got us both cell phones when we moved up here cause I wanted her to be able to reach me at all times. And vice versa. I always needed to know she was safe. In high school in a town where we knew NO ONE!

Well, I found out that finally last week it really saved her. You know she is living with my mom and dad now. They left for a week of vacation but left her with mom's car to get to school etc. She forgot and left the lights on and ran the battery down when she went to school! Scared her!! But, she used the cell phone to call a classmate and he came and gave her a jumpstart! Whew! Just knowing that makes me glad I'm still paying for that phone for her!

That's a cool phone! Does your plan have free long distance? We've gotten to where we don't make long distance calls from our home phone anymore. We always use the cell phone, and we wait until 9pm here cause we have free nights and weekends, too.
