I have a friend who raises miniature horses at her farm here in town. They own 125 acres in the middle of Shrewsbury! They raise the horses, ducks which are sold to game preserves, rainbow trout which are used to stock their pond for fishermen who buy passes to come fishing, and pheasant for the gourmet restaurant trade. They are a hard working family. They started the fishing and the duck thing so their two kids each would have a business of their own!

You can fit a lot of miniature horses on 125 acres. :)

If I was going to do anything in the horse business, I would locate it in Winney, TX.
