I bet he had some really interesting stuff to say when he was able to talk about it.The main thing was that the doctors and nurses didn't get up to near the hijinks portrayed in the movie and TV show. They just didn't have the time! They were dealing with battlefield injuries which were the worst because those men couldn't be flown any further without dying. Those MASH units had a phenomenal survival rate! As I said, Uncle Henry and his colleagues in Korea developed some new techniques for dealing with vascular injuries simply because they HAD to!
