I think it's registrar's office folks.

Sometimes I had problems with the registrar's office because it was mostly run by student employees who didn't have much experience with the paperwork and didn't know how to change mistakes in the computer.

My school has this problem of "no office will talk to any other office". It's a tiny, tiny school - 2000 students max - and all the administrative offices are on the same floor, even, but the registrar's office won't talk to the billing office, who won't talk to financial aid, and nobody talks to the faculty advisors...

I will probably be facing more of this nonsense in grad school, but at least there, they'll be paying me rather than vice versa.
