Heh... my Dad named our first batch of cats Doof, Goof and Poof - he hates cats. Of course only Doof remains. The next few cats got named after Star Trek characters.

The dog is Harry, because we let my brother name him, and my brother was 7 at the time.

I am of the opinion that cats should not be named, but merely numbered.
