That had to be the lamest sneak of all time. Missed by two posts -- and the two were "real" posts!

We went to the Passion this afternoon; pleased to report that it is showing on three screens, few empty seats, and lines waiting to get in as we left. We were also surprised to see that there were no advertisements or coming features. The theater went dark and movie commenced.
It was an intense and moving experience for us both. The subtitles were not distracting, in fact, I don't recall consciously reading them.
I did not think the extra touches detracted as some (not here) others have said; the story just flowed as it should have. It was simply inspired cinema.
The physical and mental anguish was there for all to see, it was simply unavoidable and was brought home to me the way the written or spoken word never has.
I am grateful for the opportunity to see this movie, and so thankful that it was made for us to see.
