Palmetto bugs. UGH!

I've never seen a cockroach up here, though. First time I ever saw one was in basic training at Lackland...and then they were all OVER in Mississippi where I had my tech training. Nasty, nasty things! They FLEW, for one. And they'd get in the beds and in my clothing drawers...places you didn't expect them at all.

That's one of the things I've REALLY enjoyed about living up North!
