Most of what I draw is odd, surreal, or not fit for public polite society consumption.

LOL! I like odd/surreal. I tend to draw fantasy/horror subjects. I'd like to see some of your stuff.

On your father's cat, strangely, I always thought Smaug (as drawn by Rankin-Bass at least) looked somewhat cat-like. Not sure why, maybe it's the face that looks somewhat whiskery.
