So what did you think of the end of the Hamilton trilogy?

It was... interesting. IMHO, the whole series seemed to suffer from a persistent pattern of massive, long build-up, followed by a very short pay-off. All three books had the structure, and the overarcing story as well.
So the ending, to me, felt really rushed. And Deus Ex Machina, even if it was laid out clearly long before that they were going to get some sort of help from the Sleeping God. They just show up and whoosh, everything's fixed, everyone lives happily ever after. The ending worked, I think, although why did Fletcher Christian get to hang around for a bit and the rest of the possessees got vanished immediately? And some of the characters didn't quite feel finished.
Still, I liked it. Interesting, thought-provoking in some ways. I don't think Quinn Dexter got what he deserved by a long stretch.
