Yep... I'm still sleeping with plenty of quilts myself. It was nice being home last weekend. It was almost normal!

And, good night!

Well... the story behind "Space Cruiser Yamato" was that the WW2 Japanese battleship Yamato was raised from where it had been sunk and refitted as a spaceship. Check out this page for more info...Didn't know that part--cool :)

Nope... no call. That means he's given up for the evening. He doesn't usually call after 7:30 or so. So it'll be early in the morning.

What are you gonna do for thebabygirl? Not sure yet. When she gets older there is an idea of building her a playhouse type bunkbed, complete with front door and windows. But that isn't for a long time. For now, I have Elf-boy's babybed, some of his old baby toys, and clothing. Still have the carseats. I have a dresser that was my grandfather's that will be in the baby's room. Been sorting out what is okay for a girl and what is going in a garage sale. I really like the muted sage green for painting the walls, but then I think that kiddos need bright colors. can't make up my mind. Not used to girl stuff yet. This is going to be FUN :) My mother is already hitting the stores. She *has* promised me that she won't buy ruffled-lace panties for the baby (but I don't believe her).

Oh oh... a wake-up call. Nasty things. I get to sleep late in the morning! :-)
Think about me snoozing away when you get that early call.

My girls were over-run with grandmothers buying 'em lacy stuff. They were always in lace and ruffles. Jill still likes stuff like that. Myranda wasn't much into it though. She's like me... comfy shirts and jeans are good!

But that's Zaphod Beeblebrox!!! President Beeblebrox, at that.
Known for walking out of the Infinite Field Vortex (where you are forced to comprehend the final and total infinity of the universe, and there on a microdot on a microdot on a microdot is an oh-so-tiny little sign saying "you are here". Most people cannot handle it, but Zaphod's ego was then able to expand to fill the whole of the known universe) only commenting "Wow... big place."
To: Wneighbor
Yeah, being the only girl on both sides of the family is hard. You get overloaded with nice frilly dresses, ribbons and bows, and ruffles and lace. Oh yes, cannot forget the patent leather shoes.
Been there, done that. I think I still have one or two of the satiny dresses in one of mom's closets. I was such a princess. Not sure when it happened, but one day, I got sick of it all and decided "no more." Since then, I have never again worn ribbons or bows in my hair, and except for my active duty days, no more patent leather shoes either. I quit wearing dresses with satin sashes after the goat at the animal petting area at ?Town East Mall? ate my dress. They don't do petting zoos at malls anymore, something about a health hazard... I think.
